High School Bully Apologises To Victim After Seeing His Marriage Proposal Video Online

A touching story.

You might remember the story we had a week ago, when Lucas Bane asked police to shut down an entire street in Los Angeles so he could propose to his partner of four years, David Devora.

Lucas worked very hard to carry off his dream proposal, enlisting professional dancers and the star of Step Up 2, Briana Evigan.

The video of the proposal has attracted a lot of attention online, with one viewer contacting Lucas to apologise for bullying him in high school.

‘I’m sure you have no idea who I am,’ said the message, published by TheGailyGrind.

Lucas and David released their proposal video online.

‘I went to high school with you. If you do remember me, it’s probably not positive as I was a bit of a a*****e back then.

‘I saw your video today on Facebook and wanted to say Congratulations! No need to respond I just wanted you to know that I think what you have is awesome and wish you the best.’

An overwhelmed Lucas said he cried when he saw the message and replied: ‘It’s important for people to see that people can change.

‘You’ve made me feel so validated and hopeful about where the world is headed. You’ve really given me a gift, thank you.’
