She celebrated her 44th birthday this week so it was only fair that we made Rachel Weisz our girl crush for this week. From the Mummy to the wonderful About a Boy, she’s been with us for a long time. Here are eleven reasons why she is one of our favourite ladies.

In 2004, Rachel appeared as Tessa who was viewed through her husband’s flashbacks of her life following her murder. Her performance was exceptional and won her an Oscar.

This is arguably one of Rachel’s best performances but one that is often overlooked. She played the wife of a British judge who fell madly in love with an RAF pilot, despite her failing mental health.
