Harrison Ford’s son has taken to Twitter to let people know that his father is “battered but OK” following the plane crash near Santa Monica yesterday.
The actor, best known for playing Indiana Jones, crash-landed the aircraft he was flying after some engine trouble.
According to reports the plane nose-dived onto a golf course and Harrison was taken to hospital. Thankfully his injuries were not serious.
His son Ben tweeted that his dad is okay before thanking fans for their kind wishes.
At the hospital. Dad is ok. Battered, but ok! He is every bit the man you would think he is. He is an incredibly strong man.

A representative for the 72-year-old star also released a statement following the crash.
It said: “Harrison was flying a Wold War II vintage plane today which had engine trouble upon take off.
“He had no other choice but to make an emergency landing, which he did safely.
“He was banged up and is in hospital receiving medical care. The injuries sustained are not life-threatening, and he is expected to make a full recovery.”
