Reports earlier this week suggested that Kris Jenner’s new FOX chat show was to be canned after its six week trial run. In response, the programme’s Twitter page has responded stating no decision has been made yet.
A tweet from the show’s official page read, ‘Rumours flying are false but glad everyone is still buzzing about our six week summer run!!!!’
Low ratings had suggested the show was not going to go ahead but a guest appearance from Kanye West, during which he produced snaps of his daughter North West, caused a major surge in figures.
Unfortunately a one-off ratings surge may not be enough, as a source told RadarOnline that the show; “was never going to get a green light from FOX.” The source went on to say “It’s a very crowded market and Kris didn’t do enough to set herself apart from the field. Believe it or not, most of America doesn’t want to hear about the Kardashian’s for an hour every day.”

Kris is facing embarrasment if her chat show is cancelled after just six weeks
Kris is not the first celebrity to face this problem, as Ricki Lake’s new show was axed after just one season. If Kris is to succeed, she faces stiff competition as Queen Latifah and Bethany Frankel are both set to launch daytime talk shows this autumn.
FOX is expected to make an official statement about “Kris” but it is believed they are holding off in light of problems the Kardashians are facing lately. Kris’s daughter Khloe and her husband Lemar are believed to be experiencing marital difficulties and if the show is cancelled “it will be announced in a low key fashion” said an insider at the network.
