Last night, the Grammy Awards paid tribute to musical stars who lost their lives over the past year but during the montage fans were quick to point out that they had spelled Cory Monteith’s name wrong.
Alongside the photo of the late Glee star, the caption displayed the words; “Cory Montieth, Glee actor, singer”, with the letters “I” and “e” the wrong way around.
Upset Glee fans took to Twitter to voice their anger:
Cory Monteith is the correct way to spell it. Get a factchecker #grammys. pic.twitter.com/LZkPQHI6KN

For the Grammys to misspell Cory Monteith’s name was incredibly disrespectful.
