Coronation Street star Kym Marsh and former glamour model Nicole McLean have become involved in a war of words on social media site Twitter.
It started when Nicola tweeted about reports that Kym is dating Dan Hooper, ex-partner of her friend Stephanie Waring who plays Cindy Cunningham in Hollyoaks.
Kym denied the rumours but the personal trainer then took to Twitter on Sunday night to post a photo of him and Kym kissing.

Stephanie told The Mirror about how upset she was to hear that Kym is dating her former long-term partner and father of her daughter Lexi Grace (3). She said: “I can’t believe Kym has done this to me. It is killing me.
“There is an unwritten rule that if you are friends with somebody you don’t go near their ex partners. Especially when children are involved. He’s not just some guy that I went out with for a year. This is a man I spent half a decade with and had a child with”.
Nicola also took to Twitter to voice her opinion on the situation, tweeting: “And Kim Marsh had the cheek to sl*g me off…. #girlcode”.

Kym, who plays Michelle Connor on Coronation Street, responded with: “@NicolaMcLean erm who sl*gged you off? And if you’re gonna talk about me have the balls to tag me in it! #scared [sic].”
Nicola said that she didn’t know Kym’s Twitter handle but claimed the soap star had criticised her when she took part in Celebrity Big Brother back in 2012.
She wrote: “@msm4rsh didn’t no your @ babe and yes you did sl*g me off when I was in cbb with your equally as vile friend! [sic]”.
Without adding Nicola’s Twitter handle, Kym then tweeted: “#bitter.”
Some tweets have since been deleted but yesterday Nicola tweeted again saying: “‘People really need to chill out I won’t say sorry for having an opinion”.
