She’s not wrong.
Reality TV star Gemma Collins has her sights set on taking over from James Corden when he finishes his stint as the host of the Late, Late Show.
Gemma, who shot to fame, as a cast member on The Only Way is Essex, told Metro that she is the “best person” to take over hosting duties next year.
She told the publication: “It’s gonna happen – I am the best person to fill his boots now that he’s leaving America.”
Gemma pointed to their similar career trajectories as proof that she’s more than qualified for the gig.
She said: “He’s done a lot of theatre work as well, if you look at his career, we kind of started out the same way. So yeah, Hollywood baby!”
She then began manifesting the role, saying: “It’s happening, it’s happening, it’s happening! Let’s cosmic order it up!”

Corden announced his departure from the Late, Late Show last month.
In his monologue, he said: “When I started this journey, it was always going to be just that. It was going to be a journey, an adventure. I never saw it as my final destination.
“I never want this show to overstay its welcome in any way. I always want to love making it. And I really think in a year from now, that will be a good time to move on and see what else might be out there.”
Indeed, the Late, Late Show team will no doubt be on the hunt for the perfect person to replace Corden, and, to be honest, they’d be lucky to get Gemma.
This isn’t the first time Gemma has put herself forward for an iconic role. Last year, she expressed her desire to be cast as the new 007 in the upcoming Bond films.
Go get it gal!
