X Factor’s Wagner Carrilho is expecting a baby with his girlfriend who is 36 years his junior.
The Brazilian already has a son from a previous relationship but is looking forward to becoming a father again.
“I can’t wait to be a dad again,” he said.
The controversial singer was a big hit with viewers on the TV3 show two years ago and met his girlfriend Lydia Longville while during his time on the show.
56-year-old Wagner has criticised people who say he is too old to date Lydia.
“If people say I’m a cradle snatcher they’re short sighted – I don’t feel 56,” he said.
Lydia, 20, said she has never felt this way about another man.
“He didn’t serenade me with a song but there’s always been lots of sexual chemistry,” she gushed.
Wagner said the pregnancy has not come as a surprise as the couple stopped using condoms months ago.
“We stopped using contraception so it was inevitable because she’s young and fertile.
“I’m like a vampire. I only like young blood,” he said.
