Well, she certainly did her very best to keep this one quiet, but the news of Holly Candy’s pregnancy got out after the actress launched a court case in an attempt to stop Australia’s Woman’s Day magazine publishing pictures of her which revealed the news.
According to the Daily Mail, Holly is expecting her first child with billionaire husband Nick Candy. The singer is reportedly five months pregnant.
The snaps that were taken by the magazine apparently show Candy, formerly Valance, holidaying with her husband in Italy.
Candy has previously spoken in the past about her wish to start a family: She said: ‘We will have a family, God willing, and when it happens I just want to be a mum. The biggest luxury on the planet to me would be to be at home with my child.”
“Finally at 30 I am coming round to the idea of babies and Nick, at 40, is well and truly ready. I think he might just get his way. I can see it now: I will be the bad cop – the strict one – and he will be the fabulous, fun dad!’
The news comes just ten months after Holly married Nick in a ceremony that apparently cost £3 million. Candy’s reps have been contacted for comment.
