They always say that mothers-in-law can be hard to deal with and unfortunately for Cheryl Cole, she’s experiencing it first-hand.
According to reports today, Sue Cole (Cheryl’s ex-husband’s mammy) is “absolutely livid” over the fact that the singer has opened up about her failed marriage to Ashley Cole in her new book and is now urging her son to write his own autobiography in order to “set the record straight.”
Sources are saying that Sue, who used to be pretty close to Cheryl, has been telling her friends that the singer still wanted to get back together with Ashley and try to rekindle their romance up until very recently.

Cheryl and Ashley were once the poster-couple for a happy relationship
“Sue’s been telling everyone Cheryl’s book is all b*****ks!” said a source, speaking to Now Magazine.
Sue has already suggested to Ashley that it’s time for him to write another follow up to his 2006 autobiography My Defence, however it’s not known if the footballer will consider doing this.
According to a source the thing that Sue is most upset about is the fact that she was convinced Cheryl actually wanted to get back together with Ashley up until “very recently.”
“It takes a while after you’ve been with someone as long as I was not to feel like you’re cheating on them,” admitted Cheryl in an interview recently where she talked about her struggle to move on from Ashley.
However a friend of the singer insisted that even though her divorce was painful and hard, Cheryl would never go back to Ashley.
