Now, we’ve done our fair share of giving out about Irish men but we’re going to have to call shenanigans on this one!
Despite a legion of women lusting after exports like Jamie Dornan, Michael Fassbender and Colin Farrell, a study by website BeautifulPeople.com has left Irish men at the bottom of new global rankings for attractiveness. The site only accepts very good-looking people and has based its findings on the level of success by applicants in each country, with less than one in 10 Irish single fellas who applied in the past 12 months getting the green light.
Last year’s nation-by-nation figures also revealed that blokes from the UK and Poland are just as aesthetically unappealing as their Irish counterparts, with all three countries propping up the foot of the table with a humiliating nine per cent success rate.
The Irish ladies fared much better and maintained their top ten position in the rankings with the same 23% per cent success rate as last year.
