First Bieber, Now LaBeouf: Actor Announces Early Retirement On Twitter

We're not entirely sure how he plans to retire from public life.

Shia LaBeouf has been making headlines lately, sadly not for his acting talents or scriptwriting ability, and so the star has had enough of the bad press, announcing his retirement on Twitter.

LaBeouf, a former Disney star (we know, this made us feel old), has been in a dispute over a plagiarism issue with Daniel Clownes, the comic book artist that pointed out the actor’s film Howard Cantour.com was a plagiarised version of his book Justin M. Damiano.

The 27-year-old then published an apology, which was also plagiarised, and in the last few days admitted to sending images of his penis to the the directors of his latest movie, Nymphomaniac.

The newly retired star posted the following message to fans.

He wants to protect his artistic integrity, though we are not entirely sure how he plans to retire from public life.

He ‘s giving out love, just giving it away.

And finally, Shia finished off his tweeting retirement with a fairly poignant hashtag.

Noooooo, an artist must not stop creating, Shia.

The actor changed his Twitter background to the cease-and-desist letter he received from Clowes’ lawyer, marking out all the information apart from the words, “he must stop all efforts.”

First Biebs, now LaBeouf, and within a few weeks of each other… what has the world done to deserve this?!

Come back, lads. WE NEED YOU*

*Actually, we’ll manage just fine.
