The man responsible for the film character ,with the biggest daddy issue in cinematic history, has just become a father.
Newly weds George Lucas and Mellody Hobson, who tied the knot on June 22nd, have welcomed a baby girl into the world on Friday 9th August.
Everest Hobson Lucas, who was delivered via surrogate, is the first biological child for the ‘Star Wars’ filmmaker and his 44-year-old wife.
Everest joins Lucas’ other three adopted children, Amanda 32, Katie 25 and Jett 20.

The 69-year-old sold his production company, Lucasfilm Ltd. in October of last year, for $4.05 billion.
After selling the company to Disney Lucas admitted it was time to pass Star Wars on to a new generation of filmmakers. “I’ve always believed that Star Wars could live beyond me, and I thought it was important to set up the transition during my lifetime.”
At an event, Ebony Power 100 Gala, shortly after the deal, Lucas said, “It has been my life, but I am ready to move on to bigger and better things.”
He obviously meant all the nappy changing…
