Elle Macpherson and her husband Jeffrey Soffer are reportedly planning on having a baby.
The model, who turns 51 on Sunday, is said to have found the perfect surrogate after failing to fall pregnant naturally.
A source told Woman’s Day: “They realised after a few months that having a baby naturally was a lost cause and they barely discussed adoption – they agreed on surrogacy quite quickly.
“Elle is thanking her lucky stars she had the foresight to freeze her eggs years ago. She figured they’d come in handy.”
Elle and Jeffrey got married in 2013. She has two sons, Arpad Flynn Busson Aurelius (17) and Cy Andrea Busson (12), from her relationship with Arpad Busson.
