#DonalWalsh is trending on Twitter today following last night’s inspiring RTÉ documentary.
The programme entitled Donal Walsh – My Story told the 16-year-old’s story in his own words.
Before he died, Donal appeared on The Saturday Night Show urging people to ‘live life’ and remember that help is there for those feeling low.
He also made a video for the National Office for Suicide Prevention, to be distributed to schools and put on the website.

The Kerry teenager had formed a close friendship with Irish rugby star Paul O’ Connell who spoke of his admiration for Donal on the programme.
Leinster rugby star Shane Jennings, musician Bressie and sportsman Paul Galvin also praised Donal for sharing his story with so many.
Television presenter Sile Seoige and broadcaster Miriam O’ Callaghan were two of the many people who tweeted about last night’s documentary.
His parents Elma and Fionnbar also featured on the documentary as did their daughter, Donal’s sister Jema.
Elma tweeted throughout the programme and mentioned that Donal would be delighted that he was trending on Twitter.
