A trip to the gynaecologist is never going to be comfortable.
Dropping your pants, pulling your ankles up and pretending that it’s totally normal that another person is professionally examining your vagina.
But for Demi Lovato, a trip to her lady-parts doctor took a turn from awkward to plain weird when she was asked for an autograph mid-appointment.
Speaking to New Zealand’s Z-FM, the 22-year old singer said:
“There’s been so many uncomfortable and actually violating moments where I’ve been to the gynecologist and the doctor’s like, ‘Can I have an autograph for my daughter?'” she said. “I’m like, ‘F*ck you, what the hell is wrong with you?'”
“Or I’ll get, like, a laser, and someone will be like, same thing … ‘My such-and-such is a big fan,’ and I’m just like, ‘Great, well, you can now tell them that you’ve seen my vagina.'”
Somehow, we doubt she scheduled a follow-up appointment for six-months’ time.
