David Beckham took to his new Instagram account to thank his wife and family for their love and support while celebrating his 40th birthday.
The retired footballer posted the snaps from Marrakech, Morocco, where he has been enjoying birthday celebrations with A-list pals including the Spice Girls and Eva Longoria.
In a snap cuddled up to wife Victoria, David wrote:
‘Thanks to my beautiful wife for such an amazing day x’
The footballer also thanked his family for their love and support, posting: ‘I have a lot to thank these people for. Couldn’t have done it without them.’
The father of four posted the messages to his three million followers, which he racked up in less than two days on the social networking site.
