We had really hoped this was true.
It was rumoured last week that David Beckham was in training to become a professional actor, but alas, it looks like that is not the case.
Despite the fact that he has recently been linked to the James Bond franchise, Becks has dismissed speculation that he is about to kick start a glittering career on the big screen.
Becks has been linked to the James Bond movies.
“I saw an article the other day that said this [acting] is my new career, and it’s really not,” Becks told MRPORTER.com when speaking about his role in Guy Ritchie’s latest movie.
“It’s something that I’ve dipped myself into from time to time, but I only did it for a friend, Guy.”
He has dismissed the rumours.
“It’s definitely not my new career, it’s just for fun, it’s not something that I’m training to be better at.”
We’re can still live in hope though, right?
