David Beckham may well be hitting our cinema screens in the future as he has reportedly bagged a role in Guy Ritchie’s new movie.
According to reports, Beckham will play a part in Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur which also features Jude Law, Charlie Hunnam and Poppy Delevingne.
The footballing legend will be kitted out in full medieval dress for the part in the Middle Ages epic.
“There’s going to be a version of the scene where Excalibur gets drawn from the stone. This is where Beckham factors in,” a source revealed.
According to imdb.com, the movie goes into production this week.
FilmDivider.com has also reported that ‘Beckham’s character, who fancies himself as a big player in this story, gets a little ticked off when this other fellow who can free the sword’.
Beckham and Ritchie have previously worked together on a campaign for H&M.
