Maybe you’re into Love Island, maybe you’re not but it’s gained a cult following this year, so much so that fans have been planning their evenings around it.
That’s dedication.
Anyway, the final took place on Monday night and as everyone predicted Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham were named as the winners of this year’s show, taking home £50,000 each.
During the show, Dani spoke about how she had been cheated on in the past and she was wary of it happening again, something she was open and honest and which even led to a couple of arguments between her and Jack.
Although Dani didn’t name her ex at any stage, her former boyfriend Lui Sorenti has spoken out about the rumours.
Speaking about his relationship with Dani to The Mirror, he said:
“I’m telling you now – no one was cheating on her”.
“We were really loving. I thought we loved each other. I’ve never laid eyes on another woman in my life when I was with her.
“I think she’s used that to get through to the final. I think she’s just played on that”.
Yikes, he’s not holding back at all, is he?
Dani and Lui, a recruitment consultant, dated for three years and the 24-year-old says that he doesn’t have any regrets about the relationship coming to an end.
“I’ve no regrets that we finished. She always wanted to follow in her dad’s footsteps to be famous. That was just how she wanted it to be. So it was never going to last”.
