The X Factor auditions are in full swing at the moment and this week, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini had a run in with one contestant.
Chatting to a female double act, Cheryl asked if they had been married before starting up their music careers.
The Mirror reports that one of the women replied that she “didn’t have one of her own (husbands)” to which Cheryl replied “in future, don’t make jokes about stealing people’s husbands!”

The 32-year-old then decided the pair deserved a place in the next round of the reality TV singing competition.
During her marriage to footballer Ashley Cole, former Girls Aloud star Cheryl was forced to deal with a number of kiss and tell stories referencing her husband.
The couple married in 2006 and after a number of cheating allegations were made against Ashley, they divorced in 2010.
Cheryl married restaurateur Jean-Bernanrd Fernandez Versini last year.
