Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has hit back at Simon Cowell after he made comments about her wardrobe choices.
The X Factor judge said in an interview with Marie Claire magazine that she has stopped listening to the music mogul’s opinions.
“In the early days I’d get phone calls if I wore a t-shirt in one of the VTs, where he’d be like, ‘What the bloody hell were you wearing?’
“He wears the same moth eaten t-shirt he’s worn for six years and he’s calling up about what I’m wearing?! The moment Simon Cowell appreciates what I wear then that’s when I’ll worry.”
Cheryl also talked about getting used to her new name: “It’s come quite naturally, you know. People are so ignorant about it, they just start calling us Cheryl, but I’ll take that, whatever.”
