Now, we don’t know about you but if we were celebrities we think we’d enjoy being ferried around in a limousine every now and then. However, it seems like Kylie Minogue sometimes feels uncomfortable with the special treatment she receives because of her celeb-status.
In fact, good old Kylie has said that she wants to ditch the limos and just be a stereotypical Aussie “bush person” every now and then.
“I’m like, ‘Please don’t send a limousine!’ I find them embarrassing! I love to have this glamorous life sometimes and if I didn’t have any of that, I would probably be dressing up a bit more each day or going out on the weekend and making a real effort. But I get to live out those fantasies on stage in videos or photo shoots,” said Kylie, speaking recently.
“But if I can go somewhere you can wear wellingtons – and just be a total and utter bush person – I need that,” she added.
Hmm…call us crazy but somehow we’re having trouble picturing a superstar like Kylie Minogue roaming around the Australian outback without any make-up and wearing a pair of welllies, but hey, fair play to her for admitting that she needs to get out of the celeb-bubble every now and then.
Kylie has admitted that sometimes she needs to get away from celebrity life.
While Kylie finds limousines embarrassing, she did admit that she loves being on the road and travelling all over the world while she’s on tour.
“You get to opt out of life for a little bit and live in a tour bubble,” she said.
A bubble that contains five-star hotels, photo shoots and, yes, limousines – it doesn’t sound half bad, does it?
