Ariana Grande and Big Sean have split after eight months of dating.
The music stars confirmed the news in a joint statement released earlier today.
Representatives for the couple spoke to Us Weekly: “They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends.
“We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time”.
The couple have parted ways on good terms
Sources close to the couple told Us that the famous duo ended their relationship a couple of weeks ago on amicable terms.
“They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year,” an insider told the publication.
Ariana (21) and Big Sean (27) first confirmed they were dating in October of last year and have since been pictured together at numerous red-carpet events.
