Billy Bob Thornton has revealed that despite the end of his tumultuous marriage to Angelina Jolie in 2003, the pair remain in constant contact, checking in with each other ‘all the time’.
The actor, who was promoting his new TV series Fargo, spoke fondly of his ex-wife, gushing:
“She’s amazing, amazing. She’s got so much energy and so much goodness in her, and we check in on each other all the time. She makes sure I’m doing okay. I make sure she’s doing okay.”
The pair, who famously wore vials of each other’s blood around each other’s necks, separated after three years of marriage.
Jolie is now engaged to longtime love, Brad Pitt, and the couple share six children together. Thornton blamed his split with Jolie on the fact that he didn’t’ think he was “good enough for her.
