Celebrities can be a strange bunch sometimes but we’ll admit that we’re sort of fearing for Russell Crow’s sanity. The Oscar award-winning actor has claimed on Twitter that himself and a friend have filmed a UFO.
Sky News reports that Russell alleges himself and his friend were trying to capture footge of fruit bats in Sydney, however when they checked the tape, they noticed something unusual.
According to Russell, the clip was recorded in the skies above Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens.
Obviously people are questioning whether or not the video is real (we’re very, VERY sceptical about this ourselves).
“Amazing how a tail light reflected off a glass wall can be a UFO,” wrote one YouTube user.
However, Russell is refusing to pay attention to the naysayers.
“Canon 5D, No Flash, can’t be a lense flare because it moves, camera is fixed,” said Crowe on his official Twitter account.
The footage was captured from a distance of about 250 metres from the gardens, which are close to Crowe’s apartment in Woolloomooloo, Sydney.
