Liam Gallagher is a renowned Manchester City fan, but we never really had him down a tennis lover, that was until we spotted him confessing his love for Roger Federer on camera at Australian Open.
The former Oasis frontman told the Australian Open website that he wasn’t a Murray fan because he “not that patriotic” and revealed that he was a Roger Federer fanboy, simply because he’s “mega”.
“I’m not that patriotic anyway. I don’t care about whether they’re from England, Scotland, wherever, I just like who I like, and Federer’s the man, ’cause he’s cool.
“He’s nearly as cool as me, isn’t he?” If you think so Liam, if you think so.
The singer also has a soft spot for Ana Ivanovic and was “gutted” when she lost.
“She’s just been beat, though. I’m gutted for her, but she’s cool,” he said.
Ah Liam, you’re an awful racket…
