Backstreet Boys star Howie Dorough made one couple’s wedding day complete when he paid a surprise visit to them after the ceremony on Saturday.
Friends of the couple and fans of the band had kicked off a campaign online to get the band to attend the wedding.
The Florida-based couple, A’riel Tinter and her fiancé Ryan Kastovich sent out a plea to the 1990s hit boy band back in November, and posted a YouTube video showing their love for the popular band.
Howie, who lives in Florida, worked with the newspaper editors of Florida Today to coordinate the surprise.
At the wedding, the couple were presented with a letter from the band apologising for the fact that they could not attend the day.
However, their disappointment was short-lived as the DJ introduced Howie soon after.
“I wanted to thank you guys so much for the wonderful invitation for us,” he told the newlyweds.
“I wish I was able to have all my guys here, unfortunately, it’s a little tough getting everybody from all the different states to get together, but I live in the backyard here with you guys, and I’m very honoured to be here.”
He finished off his surprise visit by performing the hit All I Have to Give.
