The Voice will see lots of new faces this season and this JLS member is rumoured to be joining the show

Marvin Humes is hoping to join BBC’s The Voice as a new presenter, replacing Reggie Yates.

The singer, who has previously spoken about his desire to have a TV career, will tour with JLS later this year as a farewell to all their fans.

Marvin recently guest presented This Morning with wife Rochelle and is in the final stages of talks with the BBC to join The Voice, although an official deal has yet to be signed.

If Marvin is successful, the presenter line up will completely change with Big Brother presenter Emma Willis and Marvin replacing Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates.

The Script’s Danny O Donoghue and Jessie J have quit as judges on the show and Kylie Minogue has been announced as a replacement. A fourth judge has yet to be confirmed, joining Kylie and returning judges Will.i.am and Tom Jones.

‘Marvin is nervous but excited,’ a source told The Sun. ‘He’s got a few months to brush up on his presenting skills before the live show, but he’ll go straight into the recorded rounds very soon. Bosses reckon he and Emma will have great chemistry.’

Since JLS announced their split, Marvin has been working on furthering his career. He has had a slot as DJ on Capital FM and also guest interviewed on ITV’s Daybreak show. He has also had his first child with wife Rochelle, little Alaia-Mai.

In December the four band members will reunite to perform their last tour, JLS Goodbye: The Greatest Hits.
