Amy Schumer is one of our favourite leading ladies: her speech at the Critics’ Choice Awards was brilliant and we loved her response to this “who wore it better” style tweet.
The Trainwreck star is making headlines again today because of her response to a teenage film critic who tweeted a remark that many have deemed offensive.
Seventeen-year-old Jackson Murphy, posted a selfie of him and Amy at Sunday night’s Critics’ Choice awards ceremony, with the caption: “Spent the night with @amyschumer. Certainly not the first guy to write that”.
He later deleted it but not before Amy got the chance to have her say.
@amyschumer I truly apologize. Thought you’d like the joke. I should leave the comedy to you! Thanks for the photo. Glad you won last night!

Jackson then apologised and Amy, being the legend that she is, forgave him. Amy, we love you.
@LCJReviews that’s really okay honey. I just remember thinking you and your dad were sweet and it was a bummer to read that
