Alicia Douvall, who has famously spent more than £1million on cosmetic procedures, has called on surgeons to do more to “protect vulnerable girls’.

While appearing on ITV’s This Morning show, the reality TV star told hosts Philip Schofield and Amanda Holden that she regrets having her first cosmetic procedure aged just 17-years old.

Douvall, who has had more than 350 cosmetic surgeries to date, also said she would “slap the surgeon around the face” if she could go back in time.

Speaking candidly about her own experiences, the 36-year old said:

“I would have not had surgery at all. I can’t believe I was so gullible and believed what that they told me.”

The former glamour model is now campaigning to prohibit surgery being an option to anybody under the age of 21, with stricter guidelines explaining the after-effects and potential risks of any procedure being carried out:

“Implants don’t last forever. If you change one thing on your face, you need to change something else. It’s all about symmetry. It’s a train you get on that keeps going and going.”

The former Celebrity Big Brother star stated young girls contemplating cosmetic surgery are “vulnerable to start with” and that “there’s not enough [being done] to protect them”.

Douvall was diagnosed with body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) several years ago.
