Actress Danniella Westbrook was due to appear in Hollyoaks later this year but reports today say she has been ‘dropped’ from the role.
Danniella previously played Trudy Ryan for sixteen episodes in 2013 and was due to return and play the same character but the show’s producers have reportedly had a change of heart.

A spokesperson told OK Online: “We can confirm that Danniella will not be filming for Hollyoaks”.
The mother-of-two, who is currently holidaying in Spain, is best known for playing Eastenders’ Sam Mitchell.
