Sex and the City’s Sarah Jessica Parker joined Twitter yesterday and already has over 400,000 followers.
In her first message, the mother-of-three promoted her new AOL documentary series about the New York City Ballet – which she executive produced.
Using the Twitter handle @SJP, she posted: ”Very 1st tweet. Proud to share my new series city ballet on AOL On @NYCballet dancers = extraordinary [sic]!”

Parker has opted for an intriguing profile photo or avatar, using a close-up shot of one of her eyes.
The 47-year-old’s on-screen persona Carrie Bradshaw is already on Twitter, tweeting as @Carrie_Br4dshaw and the account currently has 570,952 followers.
Fans are hoping that the actress will tweet about her character Carrie and the experiences she had while working on Sex and the City (SATC).
Sarah, who is married to actor Matthew Broderick is appearing in a production of The Commons of Pensacola, which will officially open on November 21 in New York.
