Ladies, prepare yourselves for some upsetting news, the highly anticipated adaptation of E L James’ erotic novel, 50 Shades of Grey has been postponed.
The film release which was expected next summer has been pushed back to the Valentine’s weekend, 2015. How romantic.
The new release date is scheduled for the 13th February, yes ladies, that is an additional six months wait until we get to see Jamie Dornan in the role of Mr Grey.

Earlier today Entertainment Weekly released the first movie stills.
Speculation of a delayed release was rife after the original actor cast as Christian Grey, Charlie Hunnam, decided to bow out.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Donna Langley the chairman of Universal Pictures denied Hunnam’s departure was the driving force behind the delay.
“Together with the international marketing and distribution team, we’ve been looking really closely at the August date and becoming more and more convinced that the right thing to do for the movie was to push it,” Langley said.
“So even if Charlie had stayed, we still would have been making the date change.”
