Some people know the day when their partner plans to propose. For others it can be a surprise.
Granted, most people tend to recognise when a man pulls out a small ring box that there’s a strong chance a proposal is set to follow.
Well one Canadian designer Andrew Zo, who has just invented the Clifton.
It’s a simple enough idea really. Instead of a conventional box, the slim 1cm box fits easily into a jacket pocket and looks like a wallet, meaning there’s none of the usual problem of trying to conceal it.
When the box is opened, the ring twists into place – just in time to pop the question.
If a man goes to this effort to surprise you, we tend to think he’s a keeper.
