Whether you used it or not, or saw any benefit to updating your profile, your first friend was always Tom – the owner and creator of the original social networking site.
Tom Anderson, who built what was once the largest social networking site in the world with friend Chris DeWolfe, sold the site to NewsCorp for $580million in 2005.
