Are you an Irish start-up with an award-worthy website? Or maybe you’ve tried and tested your products and services and you’re busy perfecting your SME in a fast-paced market. Well maybe you should take a few minutes to nominate your site for this year’s Realex Fire Web Awards.

The 2014 Realex Fire Web Awards will take place on October 22nd in the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin.

What’s more, if you’re a budding entrepreneur, you may be interested to hear that there’s a category just for you.

But don’t take too long to work out your winning formula, as deadline for nominations is this coming Friday, September 5th.

In order to nominate a website in the ‘Website of a Startup’ category, you must either be the owner or you must have authorisation from the owner to nominate it on their behalf. This category will judge a Start Up on their website design, whether they communicate their business in an efficient and effective way, and whether it entices people to sign up for/buy their products, amongst other things.

With the chance to socialise and network amongst budding business circles, it’s the perfect opportunity to start building your brand and start-up website with like-minded peers.

Start-Ups aren’t the only businesses who can benefit from inclusion at the Web Awards though, as there are also categories for various small and medium-sized businesses, as well as a number of eCommerce categories too.

This year’s Realex Fire Web Awards host a total of 33 categories ranging from Best Daily Web Only Publication (which our brothers JOE.ie won last year) to Best Financial Services Website along with everything in between. You can check out the full list of different categories over here.

We’ll find out the finalists a little later once the tickets go on sale and you can find out more about how to nominate a website over on webawards.ie.

Now all that’s left is to get nominating!
