Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Essie’s celebrity manicurist Michelle Saunders broke down what your favorite shade says about you.
Red – If you’re inclined to choose scarlet talons, your style is “elegant and effortlessly chic” according to Michelle.
Black – The gothic, edgy look apparently signifies confidence.
White – The shade synonymous with innocence suggests youthfulness but also gives a modern look and reveals that your favoured style is “trendy and cool”.
Neons – No prizes here for guessing that the bright, loud look suggests an outgoing, adventurous personality.
Blue – One of the more rare choices for nail colour, blue suggests you are creative and forward-thinking.
Nude – If you favour the earthy, natural look, it suggests you may be “low maintenance and unfussy”.
Pink – This colour is incredibly versatile, bu whether you love bright hot pink or subtle sugary shades, the likelihood is “you’re fun, flirty, ultra-feminine, and love being a girly-girl”.
