If you’ve ever moaned about never getting your make-up right, or stabbing yourself in the eye with a mascara wand, you’re about to be put to shame.

Blind make-up artist and vlogger Lucy Edwards has just uploaded a video of herself applying a perfect make-up look – instructing others on the amount of squirts to use for foundation, the feel of the sponge to pat on your face, and guidelines to avoid those tidemarks.

Posting her videos under Yesterday’s Wishes, the 19-year old started losing her sight in her right eye at the age of 11, going completely blind in her left eye when she was 17-years old.

Working with her sister for over a year, the student has now perfected her look for the cameras.

Speaking to BuzzFeed, the law student said:

“I wanted to stay positive, which is why I’m on YouTube, really.

“[When you’re blind] you are very dependent on other people. And makeup for me, personally, means that I don’t have to ask anyone about how my face looks any more. Because I know I’ve put my foundation on a certain way, and I’ve built up my routine so I know my cleansing routine and all that. I know that my face looks good without looking in the mirror. So I don’t have to ask someone, ‘Do I look good today?’ because I know that I do.”

We have to agree. Flawless.
