Urban Decay recently caused mayhem with the launch of their Naked Smoky palette and their upcoming line is likely to garner the same reaction.
Refinery 29 has reported that Gwen Stefani is the first celebrity to collaborate with the beauty brand.
Speaking about the line, Urban Decay’s founder Wende Zomnir said that she’s wanted to work with the No Doubt frontwoman for quite some time.
“I remember hearing the song Just a Girl, and Gwen was on the cover of some local music magazine, and I remember thinking to myself, ‘that girl is so cool. It would be really cool to work with her someday'”.
Gwen is clearly delighted to be working with Urban Decay saying: “Everyone in my life knows I absolutely love makeup. From a very young age, it was an artistic passion of mine. I actually used to be a makeup artist.

Gwen described makeup as her war paint…
“I love wearing makeup and having so many ways to express myself through it. It’s my war paint. To be able to do a collaboration with people who get that concept and who are just as passionate about it is a dream come true.
“We’ve made and created products that I actually wear every single day. It’s the real thing. I’m obsessed with everything we’ve done, and I can’t wait to share it”.
UDxGwen launches in November and will be available in Ireland from December.
