Can anyone make the French manicure come back into fashion?
French manicures used to be the epitome of chic but in recent years they’ve fallen out of favour with the fash pack and even though Chanel sent the models of their last Haute Couture show down the runway sporting the classic white tipped talons, we’re yet to resurrect the trend ourselves. And if this picture Snoop Dog Lion is anything to go by, we don’t think we ever will now.
It seems the rapper is having a bit of an identity crisis – he thinks he’s Bob Marley reincarnate remember – and has now decided to embrace a Parisian persona, complete with Gallic inspired manicure and Instagrammed a picture of himself smoking a suspicious looking cigar with the caption “French tip for the french enhale” (we don’t know what “enhale” means either).

Bizarrely, the picture gained 29,678 likes and 2,928 comments and counting and even though we’re now used to seeing men in skirts, wearing makeup and sometimes wearing jeans skinnier than ours, a French man-icure is just a little bit too much for our tastes.
We’re not sure the trend will catch on again but we do love how Snoop fully commits to whatever bats persona he decides to take on. At the end of the day, if Chanel can’t resurrect a trend, nobody can!
