Here’s what I’m buying in Space NK on a budget
Space NK has always reminded me of one of those stores your (richer) friends went to when on holidays in America. They would return with lip glosses, nail polishes, and face masks we’d never even heard of, and were incredibly jealous of.
Fast forward 16 years, and we finally have a Space NK of our own here in Ireland. We’re also now earning our own money and can rival the hauls of our former teen friends.
However, we’re also trying to be responsible adults and save a chunk of our income, but we’re also not going to completely deprive ourselves of a few beauty products here and there.

After all, the days of buying cheap concealer and discounted shampoo are behind us. We’re now investing in our beauty routines, rather than splurging on products just because they’re a fiver.
We’re more conscious than ever of the money we’re spending on products, and want to actually invest in items that benefit our skin, hair, and bodies.
That’s why Space NK has long been one of the most loved shops on the high street. It sells a range of high-end but affordable brands, including Rare Beauty, Summer Fridays, Byoma, Glossier, and Ouai.
I’m limiting myself to a €50 beauty shopping spree every couple of months, and here are the products under €50 worth picking up in Space NK.
Rare Beauty Mini Fragrance and Blush Set €35
Rare Beauty has been a firm favourite, but it’s a little too pricey for us most of the time. Luckily, the brand has launched a collection of affordable Christmas sets this year, and the mini fragrance and blush set is at the top of our list.
It includes Rare Eau de Parfum 5ml and Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in the shade Happy. The fragrance features notes of vanilla, ginger, sandalwood, caramel, and pistachio.
Byoma Moisturising Gel Cream €14
An oil-free moisturiser is always welcome in our books, especially when it’s from Byoma.
