Celebrity favourite EOS lip balm is being sued for allegedly causing “severe rashes, bleeding, blistering, cracking and loss of pigmentation.”
According to TMZ a woman named Rachel Cronin is filing the lawsuit against the EOS manufacturer.
The egg-shaped pods of lip balm are a favourite amongst celebrities including brand ambassadors Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears and Hilary Duff.
Cronin claims within hours of applying the balm, her lips felt like sandpaper, so she applied it again. She claims her lips started cracking, flaking and bleeding, creating blisters and rashes which lasted 10 days.
Customers have been taking to the EOS Facebook page to share their concerns.
