We’ve all been in the situation where a friend calls you to meet up for a few drinks or you sleep in and don’t have time for breakfast never mind a proper shower before heading to work.
But just because it happens to everyone isn’t going to help the fact that your hair is greasy and you don’t have time to wash it and style it properly.

All you have to do is spray it on all over your head, leave it for 30 seconds or so and then brush it out. You won’t be late and you hair will look half way decent. Sorted!
- Dry powder is another way of reducing the look of greasy hair. Rub some baby powder into your hands and then apply it to your roots. It’s meant to soak up excess moisture. Just make sure you remove any powder that isn’t rubbed in. The last thing you want is to walk out the front door with a white scalp.
- The most effective way to get around greasy hair is to wash the front parts of your hair, your bangs. After all, this is what comes down around your face and what everyone else sees. The same principles apply if you have a fringe. If you want you can put the rest of your hair up and just wash your bangs or fringe. Either way it’s a simple and speedy solution!
- Another option is to put your hair up. Greasy hair is actually better for up hairstyles so use this to your advantage. A high ponytail or bun, finished off with a tiny touch of hairspray, always looks sophisticated. Trust us, nobody will know any different. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if people actually complimented you on your hair.
- The quickest way to sort out greasy hair is to cover it up with a hat or headband. While it mightn’t suit for a nightclub, it is perfect for a bar or the office especially now that the temperatures are set to drop. Whether it’s a winter woolly or a fashionable cap, you can certainly leave your hat on!
