There are many reasons that we love Dolly Parton, besides all that amazing song-writing but let’s be fair that’s a pretty big factor. This weekend, Dolly will celebrate her 68th birthday so we pretty much had to make sure she was our Girl Crush for this week. Here are twelve reasons we love her.

Well, not really. But she does hold an honorary doctorate from the University of Tennessee. Dolly was awarded the honour after she gave this speech.
