Ford have today released details of the car Paul will drive in the upcoming Need for Speed film, based on the popular video game series.
The all-new Ford Mustang will make its silver screen debut in the film. The starring role is the latest in a line of legendary Mustang appearances in film and TV, with a whopping 3,200 appearances chronicled at MustangIMDB.com.
In the film, set for a March release, Aaron Paul will drive the custom 2014 Mustang hero car, almost 50 years after the producers of Goldfinger chose a white 1965 convertible to feature in their film.
Director Scott Waugh said of the choice; “I chose Mustang because it is a car that really represents American culture.
“It just represents modern muscle, and it’s iconic, having been in some of the greatest car chase movies of all time.”
