Sadly, the Road Safety Authority in Ireland announced that by September of last year, there had been 141 people who have died on Ireland’s roads. There had been an increase of 18 deaths on the road compared to the same period the year before.
Despite numerous campaigns and raised awareness, safety on the roads in Ireland is still a huge problem. However, we are pretty sure that advertising campaigns are certainly getting the point across.
It seems the more brutal and hard-hitting they are, the more successful the advert will be to get a message across, something that the New Zealand authority surely considered when they released the below advert.
This is pretty distressing and upsetting but it really hits home.
