Engagement photos are slowly becoming the to-do thing with young couples. Many Mr-and-Mrs-to-be begin to share loving snaps onto their social media accounts, earning several likes and favourites from friends that feel obliged to acknowledge the ODA – online display of affection. The photographs from this next couple however, are definitely worth a like and share.
The newly engaged couple living in San Francisco, Marian and Elliot, decided they’d keep up this new tradition, but give it a little twist. The result, some of the greatest pictures ever.
Marian, a marketing guru and blogger, began doing spoofs photos, recreating stereotypical shots with some role reversal.
Marian writes: “Elliot and I started a Google doc for fun, highlighting our most ridiculous ideas. When my dear friend, Malia, saw the list, she insisted on taking the photos. She’d been a wedding and engagement photographer for 10 years and said she was tired of the familiar poses. So as our wedding gift, Malia followed us around San Francisco while we acted like idiots and Elliot posed as a traditional blushing bride. I don’t think anyone has ever had more fun…”
