Independent Games Festival Reveal Finalists for 2014 Awards

The finalists for the 16th annual Independent Games Festival awards have been revealed.

Featuring the best of independent games and celebrating indie developers, the finalist list features over 30 games including the critically acclaimed Papers, Please and Don’t Starve.

The IGF Awards will take place on March 19th at the San Francisco Moscone Convention Centre in the US, and will honour developers that may not get the opportunity from mainstream award events.

The winner of each category wins $3,000, with the exception of the Nuovo innovation award ($5,000) and Seumas McNally grand prize of $30,000.

Forbes notes that every nominated game will be given the opportunity to list their game on Steam, the gaming platform developed by Valve Corporation.
