It hasn’t exactly been the best start for Sam Bailey since winning the X Factor. Despite the fact that her single made it to the Christmas number one, Bailey will have to miss out on an incredible opportunity because of the show.
Following her win of the X Factor, Bailey was due to tour with Beyonce as part of her prize for taking the title.
However, according to the Daily Star, the singer will now miss out on the opportunity as she is contracted to appear on the X Factor tour.
Bailey was expected to perform on around ten shows with the global superstar.
According to the paper, the organisers of the tour have refused to change the dates to accommodate Bailey.
Sam will now only perform on one show in Birmingham.
An insider told the Star: “Sam was expected to rake in a lot of money from this. But the X Factor live tour has ruined that.
“Touring with Beyonce was meant to be one of the big perks of winning X Factor. But now she’s just doing one date.
“Sam is worried it could all be over by this time next year. So she was hoping to bank as much money as possible, as early as possible.”
